A Morris flagship wine, pioneered by Mick Morris in the 1950s, this Durif is a true icon of Australian wine and a speciality of the Rutherglen region. Typical of the Morris style, this Durif has showing robust, rich, intensely flavoursome wine with good tannin structure and has the characteristics of great longevity.

WINEMAKERS' NOTES

Deep red in colour with purple overtones, there are lifted fresh aromas of blackberry and spice fruits, with complex cedar influence. The palate is rich yet supple, Rich and yet supple with concentrated berry and dark chocolate flavours supported with soft tannins to a long 
persistent finish.  This wine can be enjoyed now or can benefit from further cellaring until 2040.
