TASTING NOTES

Proceeding November, the winter and spring was exceptionally dry. Then very good rainfall, well above average for November and the summer months kept the vines in a very healthy state. Temperatures throughout the growing season were cooler than average especially February that was one of the coolest on record. The good summer rainfall maintained very healthy fruit on the vine and with the cooler conditions experienced provided fresh lifted varietal fruit characters. 

COLOUR: Deep red with vibrant purple overtones. 

AROMA: Ripe spicy fruit of plum and violets complexed with integrated oak. 

PALATE: Full bodied wine with rich generous plum fruit flavours integrated with fruit and oak tannins providing texture and structure with a great flavour persistence. 

ABV: 14.9%
