TASTING NOTES
The grapes were selected for harvesting at the range of 13.5° to 14.0° baumé to best display the varietal characters. After picking, the grapes were crushed into fermenters, and fermented for 6 to 10 days in contact with the skins for colour and tannin extraction before pressing. The resulting wines were blended and matured for approximately 17 months in mainly 3 and 4-year-old French oak hogsheads.
COLOUR: Medium to full depth slight crimson and red hues.
AROMA: Lifted fresh leafy Cabernet and ripe red berry fruit aromas combined with subtle cedary oak influence.
PALATE: Medium to full bodied with fresh blackberry, blackcurrant fruit flavours complexed with fruit and oak tannins.
