TASTING NOTES

Benefitting from the warmer than average temperatures in 2013 our Morris reds developed great colour and ripe fruit concentration. Individual grape parcels were individually basket-pressed and then aged for 20 months in large oak casks. The result is a stunning VP which will cellar beautifully. Peak drinking is between 2035 and 2040.

COLOUR: Vibrant deep ruby with a garnet hue.

AROMA: Displays lovely berry fruits with a red liquorice note. there is a subtle anise spice line with well-integrated fortifying spirit.

PALATE: A rich full-flavour wine, there is plenty of red fruit and a great balance between tannin, spirit and fruit. This wine lingers on your palate and will reward with cellaring for many years. Serve alongside Gruyere cheese and crackers.
