This release is our most exclusive expression yet, the Single Barrel Sherry Cask, a rare whisky drawn from a single ex-Sherry cask from Morris of Rutherglen. This limited release is a true expression of Morris craftsmanship and Australian provenance selected by Chief Winemaker Madden Morris and Head Distiller Darren Peck.

We selected this specific ex-Sherry Cask for this Single Barrel release as we wanted to share a whisky that is so unique by comparison to anything else we've ever released before. At MORRIS we're renowned for our Fortified Wines, yet experimenting with this Sherry Cask has been a project we've loved to nurture, grow and develop over the last 6 years of maturation in Rutherglen.

This whisky has developed exceptional richness and complexity and shows vibrant notes of crisp green apple, brown sugar and gentle spice. The marriage of Palomino Apera-seasoned American oak and accelerated maturation has created a whisky that is bold yet beautifully balanced, then bottled at a cask strength of 51.8%.

No two Single Barrel releases will ever be the same, with each expression shaped entirely by its individual cask.
