This individual Sherry Cask has been hand selected from the Morris cellars in Rutherglen, by Chief Winemaker Madden Morris and Head Distiller Darren Peck, chosen for its exceptional quality and expression of unique flavour. 

This Single Barrel whisky was selected from an ex-Sherry cask for its striking individuality, offering a profile unlike anything released before. Matured for six years in perfect conditions of Rutherglen, the climate has driven extraordinary depth and accelerated complexity, amplifying the influence of oak far beyond its years. From the first nose, it commands attention. Bold, layered and inviting. Flowing onto a palate that is rich yet refined, with a satisfyingly dry texture that keeps you reaching for another sip. The marriage of Palomino Apera and American oak delivers a vibrant, fresh sweetness, perfectly balanced and composed even at full strength, resulting in a whisky that is both powerful and elegantly controlled, bottled at 51.8% and just 300 bottles drawn from 1 barrel. 

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep amber with warm mahogany hues.
NOSE: Delicate honey, bright white wine acidity, crisp green apple and soft caramel toffee.
PALATE: Mocha caramel and gentle spice balanced by soft tannins, with bright ripe grape confectionery.
FINISH: Layers of tropical fruit and brown sugar, slowly giving way to native florals and a lingering gumnut dryness.
